(STICK AROUND FOR A FREE TASTER)
When people see a business working, they usually assume the person behind it must have had everything figured out from the start. I definitely did not.
I’m just a regular girl from the UK who kept trying to start businesses… and failing at most of them. Not because the ideas were terrible, but because I had a really bad habit of giving up after a few weeks. My attention span was hellaaaa to short.
I’d get excited about a new idea, build a website, make some content, wait for the sales… and when nothing happened straight away I’d panic and convince myself the business wasn’t going to work.
So what did I do?
Start another one.
And another one.
And another one.
Meanwhile I was watching everyone else online seem to make money from their businesses and thinking what am I doing wrong?
The funny thing is, looking back now, the ideas weren’t actually the problem. The real issue was that I couldn’t stay organised or consistent long enough to give any of them a fair chance.
Everything felt chaotic.
I had links everywhere.
Passwords saved in random places.
Sales numbers scribbled in notebooks.
Website logins I could never find when I needed them.
I was in a constant state of OVERSTIM and my nervous system hated me.
Every time I sat down to work on my business it felt overwhelming before I’d even started.
Eventually I decided to try something completely different. I started offering email readings for people online. Nothing fancy. Just something I enjoyed doing.
But this time I made one decision that changed everything.
I locked in. And alot of that was to do with the fact that I felt at rock bottom,I was going through a break up and felt a little lost. So that actually helped weirdly enough.
Instead of quitting after a couple of weeks when the sales were slow, I forced myself to stick with it for months because I NEEDED something to focus on. No jumping to new ideas. No starting over. Just showing up and continuing with the same business.
And because I knew I’d quit in the past when things felt chaotic, I was determined this time, I was fixated and I was locked in. So I used that fixation to also create a simple system for myself to keep everything organised in one place.
My links. My logins. My passwords. My goals. My notes. My tasks. My ideas.
Everything. And it took me weeeeeks to make it just how I wanted it. Vibe and all. (It was an escape from reality)
That system made a bigger difference than I ever expected.
Suddenly I wasn’t feeling burnt out all the time. I wasn’t draining my energy trying to remember where things were or what I needed to do next. I could actually focus on working on the business. And the OVERSTIMULATION stopped.
And because my brain wasn’t constantly overwhelmed, I was finally able to stay consistent long enough for something amazing to happen…
The business started working.
Sales started coming in.
Slowly at first, but enough to show me that the idea itself had never been the problem.
The real problem had been me jumping ship too early every single time.
Once I saw how much that simple system helped me stay consistent and organised, I realised other people were probably in the exact same position I used to be in. Maybe I have ADHD idk. But surely other people feel this way?
I used to have Good ideas.
Lots of motivation.
But completely overwhelmed and constantly starting over.
So I decided to turn the system I built for myself into something I could share with other people. Because I refuse to believe I'm the only one who has started an embarrassingly long list of businesses.
That’s how The Business Bestie was born.
It’s basically the system I wish I had from the beginning. And I mean like 10 years ago. A place to track your income, organise your business, stay focused on your goals, and stop the chaos that makes so many people quit too soon. You constantly have access to everything you need at your finger tips. Because I had used sooo many organisers in the past but they were all always missing something so I'd have to download another app and another and then it felt like it was defeating the object because I'd forget what apps I was using for what.
The truth is, most businesses don’t fail because the idea is bad.
They fail because people get overwhelmed, disorganised, and burnt out before the business has time to grow.
If that sounds familiar, you’re definitely not alone. I’ve been there. A million times over.
And if you’re curious about how the system works, you can try one small part of it for free.
I’ve made my Sales Calculator available as a free taster so you can see how the Business Bestie tools work before diving into the full system.
It’s a simple tool that shows you exactly how many sales you need to hit your income goals — something that helped me massively when I was building my own business. Seeing how little sales you ned to make just to hit target really gives you that push to carry on. And the rest of the toolkit will give you the organisation that you need to be consistent.
You can try it out and see how it works for yourself. I don't do 'fluff' I'm not trying to sell this to just anyone.. I'm made it for the people who really feel they need it so I'm trying to do my best at explaining exactly why and how it helped me.
Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned through all my trial-and-error businesses, it’s this:
Sometimes the difference between a failed business and a successful one isn’t the idea.
It’s just staying organised enough.. so that you can stay consistent long enough for it to work.
